Kona, Hawaii — — Nike will open its first store in the United States of America and will also be opening a new flagship store in Kona.
Nike, the world’s largest footwear manufacturer, announced Wednesday that it is moving its headquarters to Hawaii from Los Angeles and will begin selling its flagship shoes at Kona’s newest Nike Koa store.
The new store will be the company’s second retail location in the Pacific Ocean.
The Kona location is expected to open in the fall of 2019.
The company plans to open additional stores in the Hawaiian Islands, Hawaii and Maui.
This new location will be located in the heart of Kona on the banks of the Kahala River, and will feature a large outdoor courtyard and a full-service bar.

Nissan announced in February 2019 that it will open the first Nissan Kona in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Nissan has not yet announced any details regarding the location, but is expected in 2019 to open its flagship store at Kuaa Kona Resort.
